The Music Ministry at Voluntown Baptist Church is thriving! We hold strong the Biblical mandate to "sing and make melody" as the Bible tells us to do. We use our voices as well as instruments in praise of God Almighty.

Under the guidance of a very gifted director and with the talents of an organist, pianist and/or guitarist, our volunteer choir lift up their voices and hearts to Our Lord in praise. They intertwine their voices in beautiful harmony as they perform hymns and other spirit filled songs during our Sunday worship services.
During special times throughout the year, we are blessed to hear our children sing their praises to God as well! With joyous enthusiasm they share their love for Jesus Christ and often times incorporate ASL (American Sign Language) as they sing.
Praise is a volunteer group whose focus is to connect the congregation with the Lord through the gift of music, as well as to strengthen our own relationships with Him. Singing contemporary worship songs, they perform both with and without the congregation's participation during Sunday worship services utilizing performance tracks and/or accompanied by a live guitarist.
